Eco wristbands answer two different questions, and mixing them up is how sustainability claims get picked apart. Recycled rPET answers “use less new material” — it is still polyester, spun from used bottles, and it prints and wears identically to the standard band at a small premium. The four natural fibres answer something else: the object itself should not be plastic, and it should be visibly different.

The spread between the cheapest and the dearest is roughly two and a half times, which on a ten thousand piece order is a budget decision rather than a detail.
All five take dye sublimation, but colour behaves differently on a natural ground than on smooth white polyester: it sits softer and slightly warmer. That is a design consideration, not a defect. High-contrast artwork reads beautifully on cotton and hemp; a pale logo disappears. Weaving in up to four colours is available across the range and holds definition better on the coarser fibres.
A cotton wristband closed with a standard plastic one-way lock is not a plastic-free wristband, and that is the first detail anyone checking will point at. A metalklemme is more secure, looks better and keeps the statement whole. It costs a little more per band and it is the difference between a claim that survives scrutiny and one that does not.
