Atstarojošas un labi pamanāmas kaklasaites

  • Three constructions, from subtle woven threads to an industrial fused strip.
  • The full overlay version can be printed on, so safety does not cost you the branding.
  • Fluorescent is a separate thing: bright in daylight and under UV, but it does not reflect.
  • For site staff, marshals, airport ground crew, night events and evening deliveries.
  • 90 cm polyester base; from 100 pieces.

A high-visibility lanyard has one job: make the person wearing it easier to see when the light is bad. Which construction does that best depends entirely on where the light is coming from, and the most common mistake in this category is ordering a bright colour when what was needed was a reflective surface.

Reflective is not fluorescent

Atstarojošs Fluorescent
What it does Returns light straight back at its source Converts UV into visible brightness
In daylight Looks grey and ordinary Extremely bright
Under a car headlight Lights up brilliantly Nothing special
Under UV or blacklight Very little Glows
Order it for Site work, car parks, marshals, evening deliveries Nightclubs, festivals, daytime crowd control

If the answer is “both”, order fluorescent straps with a reflective overlay — that combination exists and costs less than buying two sets.

Three reflective constructions

Construction How visible Can it be printed? Piemērots
Reflective threads woven in Subtle Yes, on the polyester A normal corporate lanyard that happens to catch light. The version people will actually keep wearing indoors.
Full reflective overlay High Yes, printed onto the reflective surface Maximum reflective area without giving up branding. The best all-round choice.
Fused reflective strip Highest Beside the strip Industrial use. Construction, airport ground staff, security. Closest to professional safety gear.

What it is and is not

These are high-visibility lanyards, not certified personal protective equipment. Where a site rule requires a compliant hi-vis vest, a lanyard does not substitute for one. What it does is make a badge-wearing person visible in a car park at seven in the evening — which covers most of the situations where someone actually gets hurt at an event.

For crowd lighting rather than visibility, LED lanyards are a different product. For a glow that needs no light source aimed at it, see the glow-in-the-dark option under special effect lanyards.

What is the difference between reflective and fluorescent?

Reflective material returns light that hits it, so it does nothing in daylight and lights up brilliantly under a headlight at night. Fluorescent material is simply a very bright colour that stands out in daylight and glows under UV, but produces nothing in the dark under a car headlight. Site work and evening traffic need reflective. Daytime crowd control and club nights are better served by fluorescent.

Which of the three reflective constructions should we choose?

Woven threads are the subtlest and cheapest: a normal-looking corporate lanyard that catches light in the dark. A full reflective overlay covers the whole strap and can be printed on top, so it stays brandable while giving a large reflective surface. A fused reflective strip is the brightest and closest to professional safety gear, and is what airport ground staff and construction sites actually use.

Can we still print our logo on a reflective lanyard?

Yes, and this is the reason to choose the overlay construction. Your logo is screen printed in Pantone colours directly onto the grey reflective surface, so the lanyard reads as branded in the daytime and as safety equipment at night. On the fused-strip version the print goes on the polyester either side of the strip instead.

Is this rated safety equipment?

No. These are high-visibility lanyards, not certified PPE, and they do not replace a compliant hi-vis vest where one is required. They make a person carrying a badge easier to see, which is a different job — think marshals, ground crew, evening deliveries and event staff crossing car parks.

Do they work under UV light at a club?

Fluorescent does, and dramatically — that is the version to order for nightclubs, festival wristband desks and blacklight environments. Reflective material does very little under UV; it needs a directional light source such as a headlight or torch pointed at it.

Kāds ir minimālais pasūtījuma apjoms?

From 100 pieces on all four versions, with about two to three weeks from approved artwork. The fused strip carries a slightly higher unit price because the reflective layer is bonded rather than woven.
