RFID Tyvek Wristbands with NFC Chip

  • RFID / NFC chip: embedded inlay for access control and cashless payment, read range up to 10 cm.

  • Tamper-evident: void security tab breaks the seal if the band is removed.

  • Full colour print: logo, sponsors and zone colours with a scratch-resistant coat.

  • Serialised: QR code, barcode and consecutive numbers on every band.

Tyvek wristbands are the cheapest way to mark guests at a one-day event, but a printed band only works at the door. Adding an RFID / NFC chip lets the same disposable band open turnstiles, check VIP zones or pay at the bar, without the cost of a reusable fabric or silicone RFID wristband that most guests throw away after the event anyway.

Key features

  • RFID / NFC inlay: an embedded antenna and chip inside the band, read range up to 10 cm.

  • Void security tab: the adhesive closure has a zigzag pattern that breaks the seal when someone tries to remove the band, so it cannot be passed on to another guest.

  • Full colour print: offset and digital print with a scratch-resistant coat, for logos, sponsor artwork and zone colours.

  • Unique serialisation: each band can carry a QR code, a barcode and consecutive numbers, so staff can check it visually as well as with a reader.

  • Disposable and waterproof: Tyvek is light, tear-resistant and handles rain and sweat for the length of the event.

Specifications

  • Material: Tyvek with embedded RFID / NFC inlay

  • Closure: single-use adhesive tab with void security pattern

  • Print: full colour (offset or digital)

  • Variable data: consecutive numbers, barcode, QR code

  • Chip type, size and minimum quantity: confirmed with your quote, matched to your reader or cashless system

Which one

Choose RFID Tyvek when the event lasts one day or a weekend and every guest needs an access or payment chip. For festivals that run several days, or when you want guests to keep the band as a souvenir, a fabric RFID wristband or a silicone RFID wristband lasts longer. If you only need a visual check at the door, a printed or numbered Tyvek band with a barcode or QR code does the job without a chip.

Use cases

  • Conferences and trade fairs with scanned entry and session access

  • One-day festivals and concerts with cashless bars

  • VIP, backstage and staff zones that need a reader check

  • Water parks, pools and leisure venues where guests pay with the band

Common questions

Which chip do I need?

That depends on the access control or cashless system you use. Tell us the system or reader model and we confirm the matching chip before production.

Can a guest take the wristband off and give it to someone else?

No. The adhesive closure has a void security tab with a zigzag pattern that breaks when the band is removed, so a passed-on band is easy to spot and cannot be closed again.

Can every band have its own number and QR code?

Yes. Bands can be printed with consecutive numbers, a barcode and a QR code, so staff can check them by eye as well as with a reader.

RFID Tyvek or a fabric RFID wristband?

Tyvek is single-use and the most affordable option for one-day or weekend events. For longer festivals or when guests keep the band, a fabric or silicone RFID wristband lasts longer.
