A badge system is a decision made once and lived with for years, usually by whoever owns the uniform budget rather than by marketing — so specify it against the garments and the staff turnover you actually have, not against the launch photograph. Three questions settle the order: what the badge has to hold on to, whether the name printed on it will change, and what the body should be made of.
