LED and Glow Party Glasses

  • Two builds: an EL wire frame that glows as a continuous line, or LEDs with net lenses.
  • People put them on and take photographs — which is most of the return.
  • Battery powered, no setup, no operator.
  • Nightclubs, corporate parties, festivals and product launches.
  • From EUR 3,99 at 100 pieces.

Some promotional items are looked at. Party glasses are worn, and then photographed — usually by someone else, usually within a minute of being handed over. That behaviour is the entire product, and it is why a room of them changes how an event looks and feels far more than the unit price suggests.

Keep the logo small

The glasses are already doing the visual work. A large logo across a glowing frame fights it and looks like an afterthought; a small mark on the arm is clearly legible in a photograph taken from the side — which is how most pictures of someone wearing glasses are actually taken.

Common questions

EL wire or LED?

EL wire glows as a continuous bright line around the whole frame, which photographs as a clean shape and looks the most designed. LED glasses with net lenses put individual points of light across the face and cycle colours, which reads as louder and more playful. Corporate parties tend to want EL wire; club nights tend to want LED.

Why do party glasses work as merchandise?

Because people put them on and then photograph each other. Almost no other giveaway causes that on its own — the item creates the picture, the picture carries the brand, and the whole thing happens without anyone being asked to post anything.

Can we brand them?

Yes, on the arms and on the frame. Keep it small: the object is doing the work visually and a large logo across a pair of glowing glasses looks like a mistake. A small mark on the arm shows up clearly in a photograph taken from the side, which is how most of these pictures are taken.

How long do the batteries last?

An evening, comfortably, and the cells are replaceable on most models. EL wire draws a little more than LEDs, which is the trade for the continuous line.

Are they comfortable enough to wear all night?

They are worn in bursts rather than continuously — put on for a photograph, pushed up onto the head, put back on. Design for that: what matters is that they survive being handled, not that they are comfortable for three hours.
