Custom Luggage Straps – Printed Suitcase Belts & Locks

A belt that wraps around a suitcase, holds the shell closed if a latch lets go, and makes one black case findable on a carousel of black cases. Practically, it is 50mm of printed webbing that circles a bag at eye level — a larger and better-placed branding surface than almost anything else a traveller carries, and one that is seen in airports rather than in a desk drawer.

Which buckle

• Standard quick-release buckle — identification and basic security. This is the version to order in volume; it is the one that does the job the strap exists for.
• Combination lock — a 3-digit resettable code. Buy it when the recipient is a frequent flyer and the gift needs to feel considered rather than handed out.
• Digital scale — an LCD scale built into the handle, so lifting the bag weighs it. It is the premium option and the one that gets kept and shown to other people. Order it in small numbers for the accounts that matter, not across a whole campaign.

Woven or sublimated

Woven (jacquard) means the logo is knitted into the structure of the webbing. It cannot wear off, it reads as premium in the hand, and it is limited to simple shapes and a small number of colours. Sublimation prints the strap in smooth full colour and handles gradients and complex logos without compromise. Choose woven for a single wordmark that has to survive years of baggage handling; choose sublimation when the design itself is the message and needs to arrive intact.

Details that get forgotten

• The ID card slot tag. Available as an extra, and it addresses the actual loss case — a bag that has gone somewhere without its owner needs a name on it, not just a colour.
• Length. Adjustable, and it fits large suitcases, so one specification covers cabin bags and hold cases alike. That is rare enough in branded travel goods to be worth planning around.
• Material. Heavy-duty nylon or polyester, which is what lets the strap be pulled tight rather than merely draped.
• Packaging. Retail box or polybag. Box where the strap is sold or given individually; polybag where several hundred are being handed across a counter.

One planning note for tour operators: order the same strap in two or three colours rather than one. Colour becomes the group marker at the hotel door and on the coach hold, and it costs nothing extra in usefulness.
