A 500 ml aluminium cup is a reusable event cup that does not look like one. It is metal, it is refillable, and it carries a GRS certification you can name in a sustainability report — which is the reason most conference and festival organisers move to it from moulded plastic. The shiny silver finish is the branding surface.
GRS — the Global Recycled Standard — verifies the recycled origin of the aluminium. That matters because “recycled” on its own is a claim anyone can print on a cup. With a certified material, the statement survives a tender document, a venue’s environmental reporting and a sponsor’s own compliance review. Aluminium can also be recycled again and again without losing its properties, so a cup that walks out of the site is a smaller loss than the plastic equivalent. If nobody in your organisation is ever asked to evidence a sustainability claim, this cup is more than you need. If someone is, this is the part you are actually buying.
The silver finish decides this. Laser engraving marks the metal itself: permanent, single-tone, immune to washing, and the right choice for a venue cup that has to survive years of reuse and a commercial dishwasher. Printing gives you colour, larger artwork and sponsor lock-ups, but it sits on the surface. For a festival edition where the artwork changes every year and the colour is the whole point, print. For a bar, a stadium or a conference centre building a permanent cup pool, engrave.
A reusable cup only pays for itself if it comes back, so the quantity is not one per guest. Order against peak concurrent drinks plus whatever is in the washing cycle, and run a deposit — without one, a good-looking metal cup leaves in pockets. Aluminium is light enough to carry in quantity and takes the temperature of what is in it, which guests read as cold beer staying cold. It is a drinks cup, not a hot-drink mug.

500 ml, which covers a standard serve at a conference, festival or corporate event without needing a second size.
Global Recycled Standard certification guarantees the recycled origin of the aluminium. That is the difference between claiming recycled content and being able to show it.
