Silicone is the most-ordered wristband material we sell, and screen printing is the entry point to it: no mould, no tooling cost, artwork on the band in any colours you like. It is what most marketing campaigns actually need.
A mould reproduces one shape, in one colour, in the silicone itself. A screen prints anything: multiple colours, a gradient, small type, a logo that does not simplify well. If the artwork has more than one colour in it, printing is usually the only silicone option that reproduces it faithfully.
It is also the fast one. There is no tooling to cut, so a printed run moves from artwork approval to production immediately — the difference matters when the event is in three weeks.
The ink is on top of the band rather than in it. On a band worn every day for a year, the print thins at the wrist edges. On a band handed out at a festival, worn for a weekend and kept in a drawer, it never becomes an issue. Choose accordingly: campaigns and events print, long-term ID debosses.

Months of daily wear rather than years. The ink is bonded to the surface, not moulded into the band, so on a band worn constantly it eventually thins at the edges. For a campaign band that is fine — the band outlives the campaign. For an ID band worn for years, choose debossed or embossed instead.
No mould. Debossing and embossing require a custom steel mould per design, which is a fixed cost before the first band is made. Screen printing needs only a screen, so short runs are viable and lead times are shorter.
Yes, on both parts. The silicone itself is mixed to a Pantone reference, and the ink is matched separately, so a two-colour brand reproduces properly. Send the PMS codes with the artwork.
100 pieces. Real price breaks start at 1 000 and again at 5 000. Because there is no mould cost, a 100-piece order is not disproportionately expensive the way it is with moulded finishes.
