Sizes are fully customisable — 5×7, 8×10, 10×15 and 15×20 cm are typical, and larger is possible — so the pouch is built around the ring, watch or cosmetics set rather than the other way round.
Single pulls from one side and is the simpler close; double pulls from both ends and cinches more evenly, which matters on the larger sizes. Cords can be satin ribbon, PP cord, cotton rope or a matching velvet strip.
