Button badges do one job nothing else does as cheaply: they put full-colour artwork on a person for roughly the price of printing a sheet of paper. There is no tooling, no colour separation and no minimum in the thousands, so a run of one hundred is an ordinary order rather than a favour. That is why they work equally well as staff accreditation, as campaign merchandise and as the thing a visitor pins to a bag and keeps.
There are three: round Mini, round Maxi and square Maxi. Mini is a role marker — staff, member, volunteer, first aid — carrying an icon or two words without dominating a uniform, and it is the one to order in bulk when the badge is functional. Maxi round is the campaign badge: a slogan, a face, or a logo plus a line of text, legible from across a room and worth keeping. Square Maxi suits artwork that is already square — album covers, posters, screenshots, a logo locked in a box — because a square design cropped into a circle almost always loses something. Using two sizes at one event is a cheap way to separate crew from guests at a glance.
Both materials look and print identically, so this is not an appearance decision. RPET recycled polyester exists for the case where the item has to pass an environmental policy, a public-sector tender or a sustainability report. If nobody will ever ask, standard is the cheaper answer. If someone might, a badge is far too small an item to be the thing that fails an audit.
Digital print reproduces photographs, gradients and fine text directly, but the printed face wraps around the curved rim, and anything sitting too close to the edge disappears from the front view. Keep type and logos central, let backgrounds and colour run off the edge, and check the design as a circle rather than as a square file.
Exact diameters are confirmed at quotation. Supply artwork in vector format or at 300 dpi with 3 mm bleed, and we will return a proof before production.

The printed face is sealed under a protective film, so the badge takes being worn, pocketed and worn again. An RPET recycled polyester version is available where the material spec matters.
