A printed cup disappears once the house lights go down. A lit one does not. These hold 340 ml, run multicolour LEDs from a button in the base, and switch between a fixed glow and a flashing mode — a branding surface built for the part of an event that happens in the dark: concerts, club nights, late festival hours, launches and awards dinners.
Fixed is the default. It reads as atmosphere, it photographs cleanly, and it does not compete with the stage. Flashing is for a short, loud moment — a countdown, a drop, a room-wide photograph — and it becomes irritating at a seated dinner within about a minute. The mode is chosen on the cup itself, so you do not control which one the room settles on. Assume a good share of guests will find the flashing setting and brief the bar staff on how you want the cups handed over.
This is not the cup every drink of the event gets served in. Use plain reusable cups for the daytime and the main bars, and bring the lit version out for the evening programme, the VIP area or a single sponsored serve. Ordered that way the quantity stays sensible and the effect stays special; ordered as the general cup, the novelty is gone by the second round and the batteries are the only thing anyone remembers.
Button batteries are included and every cup is individually packed in a kraft design box. That cuts both ways. The box means the cup works as a place-setting gift or a giveaway a guest takes home intact, rather than something pulled off a wet stack. It also means storage volume behind the bar is set by the box, not the cup — count boxes when you plan the space and the bin runs. The body is PS, a rigid plastic: it holds its shine and its shape, and it will crack rather than flex under a boot, so it suits table and bar service better than a crowd at the front.
